Chicken Sharara Recipe | Perfectly Spiced and Tender

Chicken Sharara is a flavorful and aromatic dish made with tender chicken pieces cooked in a rich and spicy gravy. This dish is packed with aromatic spices and a blend of flavors that will tantalize your taste buds. It is a perfect choice for a hearty and satisfying meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Chicken cut into desired size
  • 2 nos Onions finely chopped
  • 2 nos Tomatoes finely chopped
  • 3 nos Green chillies slit into half
  • 1 ½ tsp Ginger Garlic paste
  • 1 bunch Coriander Leaves finely chopped
  • 4 nos Green cardamom pods
  • 5 nos Cloves
  • Cinnamon a few pieces
  • 1 & ½ tbsp Cumin powder Jeera
  • 2 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric powder haldi
  • 5 tbsp Yogurt
  • Salt as per taste
  • oil/ghee as per requirement

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add more oil/ghee. Add cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and fry for a minute.
  • Add onions and cook until they turn pinkish. Then, add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, and cook for 5 minutes on medium heat.
  • Add green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, and yogurt. Mix well and cook on low heat until fragrant.
  • Let the mixture cool, then transfer it to a blender and blend into a thick gravy.
  • In a separate pan, heat ghee and add the blended gravy along with 2 glasses of water. Bring it to a boil over medium heat.
  • Add the cooked chicken pieces to the gravy and simmer on low heat for some time.
  • Serve hot with chapati or bread.
