  • Pan with Lid If you don't have an oven, you can cook the pizza on a stovetop using a pan with a lid. This method helps to melt the cheese and cook the toppings.
  • Mixing Bowls Mixing bowls are required to prepare the white sauce, topping mixture, and to mix the pizza dough if you are making it from scratch.
  • Whisk or Spoon A whisk or spoon is needed to stir and mix the ingredients for the white sauce and topping mixture.
  • Kadai or Saucepan A kadai or saucepan is used to heat the butter, sauté the garlic, and prepare the white sauce.
  • Cutting Board and Knife A cutting board and knife are essential for chopping and preparing the vegetables, chicken, and garlic.
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons Measuring cups and spoons are helpful for accurately measuring the ingredients, especially for the white sauce.

Ingredients
  

For White Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose flour (Maida)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic finely chopped
  • ¼ tsp Chilli flakes
  • ¼ tsp oregano
  • ½ cup Milk
  • Salt as per taste

For Topping Mixture:

  • 2 nos Onions chopped
  • 200 gms Mushrooms chopped
  • 1 no Capsicum chopped
  • 2 nos Tomatoes chopped
  • Sweet corns A few
  • Chicken (as per requirement) boiled and shredded
  • Mozzarella Cheese as per requirement

Instructions
 

White Sauce:

  • Take a Kadai/Pan and heat it. Add butter and let it melt.
  • Once the butter has melted, add the chopped garlic. Stir it for a minute on low heat.
  • Now, add the all-purpose flour (maida) and mix it well.
  • Gradually add milk, a little at a time, while stirring vigorously to avoid lumps.
  • Add salt, chilli flakes, and oregano. Stir and cook for about a minute until the sauce thickens.
  • Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

Topping Mixture:

  • In a separate pan, add oil and heat it.
  • Add the chopped onions and tomatoes. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Next, add the chopped capsicum, mushrooms, sweet corn, and cooked shredded chicken. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender.
  • Add pizza sauce and salt. Mix well. Set aside to cool.

Pizza Final Preparation:

  • Preheat the oven as per the instructions on the pizza base packaging.
  • Take a pizza base and spread the cooled white sauce evenly on it.
  • Then, spread tomato ketchup over the entire base.
  • Now, spread the topping mixture over the sauce layer.
  • Add a generous amount of mozzarella cheese, shredded or in slices, over the toppings.
  • If desired, add sliced olives for extra flavor.

Baking the Pizza:

  • Place the prepared pizza in the preheated oven or cook it on a stovetop with a lid.
  • Follow the recommended baking time and temperature for the pizza base you are using. The cheese should be melted and the crust golden brown.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Once the pizza is done, remove it from the oven or stovetop.
  • Allow it to cool for a few minutes before cutting it into slices using a pizza cutter.
  • Serve the delicious homemade chicken pizza and enjoy!
