Ingredients
- ½ kg Prawns small sized
- 1 handful Coconut scrapped/grated
- 2 nos Green Chillies chopped finely
- 2 nos Onions chopped finely
- 1 handful Coriander Leaves chopped finely
- Salt as per taste
- 3 tbsp Rice Flour
- 1 tbsp Tamarind Juice or lime juice
- ½ tsp Haldi powder (turmeric)
Instructions
- Wash and clean the Prawns.
- If the Prawns are medium-sized, mince them.
- In a dish, combine the Prawns with salt, scrapped Coconut, chopped Green Chillies, onions, and coriander leaves. Mix well.
- Take a small portion of the mixture in your hand and shape it into a round ball, keeping in mind the desired size of the cutlet.
- Gently press the ball with your palm, ensuring that the edges are intact. If the edges break, lightly tap the side of the cutlet to mend them.
Notes
- You can adjust the quantity of Green Chillies according to your preferred level of spiciness.
- The addition of Tamarind Juice or Lime Juice adds a tangy flavor to the cutlets.
- Rice Flour helps in binding the ingredients together and gives a crisp texture to the cutlets.
