Peanut Biscuits

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gms Maida
  • 140 gms Sugar
  • 140 gms Ghee
  • 1 no Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 160 gms Peanuts
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 4 gms Baking Powder

Instructions
 

  • Roast the peanuts and remove the skin once it’s cooled. Crush the peanuts.

  • Take a bowl, to this add the egg and beat well till it is fluffy, now add the sugar powder, ghee and vanilla essence into it and mix till it is fluffy.
  • Now add the sieved maida and baking powder to it and make a dough. The dough shouldn’t be too hard.
  • Roll on a thick butter paper or any clean flat surface.
  •  Cut it into the required shape.
  • Top them with crushed peanuts ( you can lightly press the peanut)
  • Grease the tray with butter and dust with Maida.
  • Arrange this on the tray.
  • Preheat the oven at 150 C for 5 minutes. Bake the biscuits at 150 C for 15 minutes.
