These Beetroot Cutlets are a delightful and nutritious snack made with grated beetroot, mashed potatoes, and a blend of spices. Ingredients
  

  • 3 nos Beetroot large
  • 2 nos Potatoes medium sized
  • 2 nos Onions large sized
  • 2 nos Green chillies
  • 2 slices Bread
  • 2 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Rice powder and Rawa mix for coating the cutlets
  • Oil as per requirement
  • Coriander leaves chopped finely

Instructions
 

  • Wash the beetroot, peel the skin, and cut them into halves. Cook the beetroot along with the potatoes in a pressure cooker. Once cooled, grate the beetroot and mash the potatoes.
  • In a pan, fry the chopped onions until light pink. Add the green chillies and fry for a minute. Then, add the grated beetroot, mashed potatoes, garam masala powder, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
  • Mix in the chopped coriander leaves and let the mixture cool.
  • Add the bread pieces to the cooled mixture and mash everything together.
  • Take a portion of the beetroot mix, shape it into a ball, and flatten it with your palms. Coat the cutlet with a mixture of rice powder and rawa.
  • Heat a tawa or pan, and place the cutlets on it. Drizzle a teaspoon of oil and fry the cutlets on medium flame. Flip them over and fry until golden brown.
  • Serve the hot beetroot cutlets with green chutney or tomato sauce.
