Ingredients
- 3 no Bangdo IMackerel Fish)
- 2 cups Grated Coconut
- 2 no Kashmiri Chillies
- 4 no Red Chillies (small)
- Tamarind (small lemon sized)
- 1 no Onion (small) finely chopped
- 2 no Green Chillies (slit in half)
- ½ inch Ginger (finely chopped)
- 2 tsp Coconut Oil
- Salt as per taste
Instructions
- Grind the grated coconut, Kashmiri chillies, red chillies, and tamarind to a smooth paste.
- In a pan, add the ground coconut paste and water to achieve the desired consistency.
- Add chopped onion, slit green chillies, ginger, and salt to the pan, and boil for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the Bangdo fish pieces and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the fish is thoroughly cooked.
- Once cooked, drizzle coconut oil over the fish curry for added flavor.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
