- 2 tbsp Maida (All-Purpose Flour)
- 100 gms Butter
- 1 cup Milk
- Hot Water (as needed)
For Sautéing:
- 3 large Mushrooms (finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 4 cloves Garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 large Onion (finely chopped)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper Powder (to taste)
- ½ tsp Soya Sauce
Instructions
- To make the white sauce, melt butter in a pan, add Maida, and blend for about 2 minutes.
- Gradually add milk little by little while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Slowly add hot water, stirring, until you achieve a balanced consistency.
For Sautéing:
- In another pan, melt butter, add chopped garlic, and sauté until it turns light pink.
- Now add chopped onions and sauté for another 2 minutes over medium flame.
- Stir in the finely chopped mushrooms and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Mix in the white sauce prepared earlier along with 2 cups of hot water on low flame.
- Add salt, pepper powder, and soya sauce, mixing well. Bring the mixture to a boil, and your delicious homemade mushroom soup is ready to be enjoyed.
